Bluepoint Solutions and Cummins Allison, the leading innovator and provider of coin, currency and check processing technology as well as ATMs, today announced that the Cummins Allison JetScan iFX scanner is certified compatible with the ImagePoint suite of check capture solutions from Bluepoint Solutions. This collaboration will offer credit unions the ability to further automate their deposit process by using a single, compact device to capture both checks and cash.
Bluepoint’s ImagePoint Branch and Teller capture solutions allow checks to be scanned in batches at a back-counter/back-office location or directly at the teller line. ImagePoint Mailroom provides a single interface for processing mailed deposits and remittances for internal use or on behalf of depositing merchants. Scanned checks from any location are immediately converted into Check 21-compliant digital images ready for further processing and clearing. The state of the art JetScan iFX i100 scanner captures check and deposit item images at 400 documents per minute and processes up to 1,600 mixed bills per minute, offering streamlined deposit transactions from any location.
When combined with ImagePoint Branch, Mailroom or Teller Capture, the scanner offers the unique ability to process complete deposits while reducing overtime costs for tellers, mailroom and lockbox employees. Transaction time at the teller line is reduced, and there is no need for multiple scanning or counting devices at any workstation.
