Unlike currency counters, JetScan currency scanners read the denomination of each and every bill processed. It can total a bundle of unsorted currency, sort mixed currency and find a $20 bill misplaced in a bundle of $1's.

Sort Mixed Money -- You can take all the currency from a cash drawer and count it unsorted when time is tight, then use the "sort" mode on the currency scanner to quickly recount or just unsort the layered bills ($1's then $5's then $10's) that were bundled together.
